Andy Payne Settles a Tire Detread and Stability Case Against General Motors and Discount Tire Company for Significant Confidential Sums.
Andy Payne represented an eighth grade school teacher whose wife was killed when a tire detread resulted in a loss of control and rollover of a General Motors vehicle. The vehicle contained defects relating to its stability and restraint system. The detread was caused by a faulty repair at the hands of Discount Tire Company. The case was settled in its entirety just prior to the beginning of trial for a substantial confidential sum.
